A bolgár Bárd kiadó (ИК Бард) 1993-ban indította útjára SF sorozatát, melyben igyekszik a klasszikus művek mellett a kortárs fantasztikus irodalmat is bemutatni. Könnyen megfér itt Arthur C. Clarke, Richard Morgan, Philip K. Dick és Cory Doctorow. A sorozat, ami nagyjából a Világ válogatott fantasztikuma (Избрана световна фантастика) címen fut, napjainkban közel 170 kötetből áll.
